On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Financial Analyst, Corporate Accounting to join the Corporate Reporting and Accounting team. Reporting to the Senior Corporate Accountant, Corporate Reporting, this position is responsible to analyze routine information for accuracy and business insight and to generate accounting entries and analysis that require data interpretation or professional judgement.

Key responsibilities, among others, will include:

  • Reviewing and posting accruals and journal entries
  • Performing fixed asset, general ledger, and inventory accounting
  • Preparing remittances for EDC, VAT, and other government filings
  • Reconciling intercompany and goods in transit accounts for all companies
  • Preparing working papers supporting the monthly close process and month end balances
  • Ensuring GL account integrity
  • Preparing month end schedules and reporting
  • Creating balance sheet and income statement budgets for Annual Operating Plan (AOP)

The ideal candidate will have:

  • CPA designation or be working towards CPA
  • Minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience
  • SAP user knowledge is an asset
  • Clear and effective communication skills
  • Excellent analytical skills
