On behalf of our client, we are currently recruiting for a Territory Sales Manager to join their team of dedicated professionals in Alberta, Canada. This field sales role will be working remotely with a home base in either Calgary or Edmonton, while reporting directly to the Regional GM Western Canada Sales and working with the team at HQ in San Francisco. The main territory for this role will cover the province of Alberta, with occasional account visits to British Columbia, Manitoba and Saskatchewan.
The Territory Sales Manager will be the company representative for all licensed cannabis retailers within the assigned geographic territory, meeting company and individual sales specific goals. The successful candidate will be responsible to build strong rapport and relationships with Brand Partners, drive new points and existing points of sales distribution and visibility for sustainable growth, as well as deepen existing business relationships by continuing to increase account satisfaction. The Territory Sales Manager will also train cannabis retailers in product knowledge and execution of PAX Labs sales and merchandising standards, as well as evaluate customer needs, understand market drivers and forces and work with internal partners to ensure appropriate service/product delivery and pricing.
As the ideal candidate, you possess a minimum of 5+ years outside sales experience in the consumer-packaged goods, cannabis or beverage alcohol industry. Cannabis experience is not required however will be preferred. You are a dynamic and innovative individual with a creative way of thinking; always striving to exceed expectations. With exceptional interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, you possess strong business acumen and are highly analytical by nature. Superior ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines will be key to success in this role. Willingness to travel with access to a reliable vehicle, as well as a bachelor’s degree in business or related field, is required.
