Meridia Recruitment Solutions has partnered with our client, a small yet full-service environmental and engineering consulting firm poised for considerable growth over the next five years. Their Environmental/Civil Engineering and Survey Department is expanding, and they are looking for Project Engineers, Managers, Surveyors and Drafters to join their team.


With projects in Private, Municipal and Commercial sectors, as well as those involving Industrial and Government facilities, they serve as both a prime and sub-contractor to local, federal and state agencies, in addition to private sector clients. The ideal candidate would be self-motivated with a team approach, having an ability to work with all levels of engineering, technical and administrative staff.


Role Description:
Due to current workloads and a growing client base, they are looking for individuals to perform project tasks, oversee the completion of assignments and continue client relationships. The individual is expected to have significant technical and managerial expertise, will be a key component to planned/sustainable growth, and will be a member of our client’s Engineering Department. You will play an important role in the company’s future growth.


Your responsibilities may include:

• Provide technical resource support including but not limited to drafting, scheduling, field tasks, plan preparation and/or review, writing draft and final reports
• Communicate daily on project work assignments and ask for assistance when needed.
• Be responsible for the coordination and communication within departments on any progress/hurdles that may be associated with existing or future client projects that you are working on.
• Work in collaboration with project staff to assure quality and accuracy is being upheld on multi-disciplined projects that you lead or assist with.


Your Qualifications:

• Candidate must possess a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.  
• Engineer in Training, (EIT) Certification in the state of Massachusetts desired.
• Ability to obtain registration as a Professional Engineer in the state of Massachusetts within two years from the date of hire, if not already in process or acquired.
• A bachelor’s degree in an unrelated field or an Associate degree in a related field PLUS at least 3-5 years’ experience in project work will be considered.
• OSHA 40 desired.
• Driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D and a proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is required.

The compensation package is dependent upon education, technical and client management/development experience.
