Our client, a leading non-profit health and wellness partner, is looking to add a talented marketing professional to their dynamic team. As Senior Marketing Advisor, Group Business Products, you will be responsible for working with the senior product leaders to develop and execute strategies to support their growth and retention initiatives. This will include creating integrated strategic marketing plans that consist of business and industry relations as well as product positioning and go-to- market strategies, including digital, that promote their products while raising awareness for their brand and value proposition.

The Corporate Marketing and Communications team is responsible for enterprise and line of business marketing, communications strategies, and activities including public, social and media relations, issues management, corporate branding, internal communications, digital marketing and communications, community relations, corporate events and the development and production of marketing and communications materials for group and individual health benefits products, government administered programs and selected activities.


  • Lead the creation of compelling product marketing collateral to promote their value proposition as you liaise with the product and sales teams while leveraging the broader marketing and communications team as well as external agency partners
  • Use your digital expertise to identify new and innovative marketing campaigns that leverage new channels and thought leadership opportunities
  • Leverage measurement tools, including A/B testing and analytics, to strengthen their messaging and maximize the value and exposure of their marketing investments
  • Work collaboratively with the product management division to ensure ongoing, timely and effective material development for internal sales training and broker education
  • Accountability for the ongoing development, maintenance and enhancements to all broker and consultant communication material and activities
  • Effectively collaborate with your Individual Marketing counterpart to identify synergies and opportunities
  • Become a student of the business, attending key internal meetings to better understand your stakeholder audience and gather and share competitive intelligence, within the industry and beyond, to inform the overall strategy and recommendations

  • Post-secondary education in marketing discipline or sufficient marketing and communications development knowledge and experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of previous experience in developing and executing marketing plans, ideally within a corporate environment or through work with corporate clients.

  • Digital acumen – you are always learning about new technology and you know how to leverage innovations such as mobile devices, social media and web and e-commerce platforms to drive engagement and revenue
  • Writing – you don’t have to be able to write a novel but you should be comfortable writing first draft material including business focused content, event descriptions or marketing collateral
  • Detail oriented
  • Negotiation is part of your language– whether it is negotiating timelines, approach or vendor pricing you are comfortable having conversations with the intent of finding amicable solutions
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Enjoy a variety of work and can change gears quickly
  • Problem solver - you are curious by nature and have the drive to see projects through to completion
  • Experience in B2B and/or insurance industry is considered a strong asset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Bilingualism (French and English) is considered an asset, but not required, for this position.
