As such, Clayton Developments is looking to add a Manager of Operations to their team in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

As the ideal candidate, you have demonstrated a high level of knowledge in value-engineering and innovative performance-based design principles acquired through at least 10 years of hands on land and site development project design and management. Recognized in Canada as a Professional Engineer, you are someone who can apply strong technical design principals, you have exceptional organizational and time management skills, and enjoy working both independently and in collaborative teams of various stakeholders to prioritize and manage multiple infrastructure planning, design and construction projects. However, what sets you apart is your ability to recognize the business behind the projects, understanding how to maximize value in all aspects of detail design and construction.

As the Manager of Operations with Clayton Developments, you will provide detail design expertise, business and financial oversight, and hands on project management throughout the lifecycle of land and site development projects of differing sizes. You will be responsible for managing an internal project engineering team as well as external team of engineers, scientists, planners and architects, as well as fostering and maintaining positive relations and communication with external approval agencies, municipal planning and engineering staff.

It’s an exciting time to be a part of this ever-evolving organization; as a key contributor you will play an integral role in executing operational initiatives while being able to see the direct impact of your efforts. You will be given the latitude necessary to develop and lead your team as well as the support needed to be successful in this venture. In exchange for your experience and expertise, you will receive a competitive compensation and benefits package as well as the opportunity to grow your career.
