We are seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to join their team of dedicated professionals in Labrador West.

Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the Human Resources Business Partner will be responsible for implementing human resources services including labor relations, performance management, training and development, benefits administration, employee relations and retention, HRIS management and talent acquisition. S/he will develop human resources solutions by collecting and analyzing information and recommending courses of action. With the goal of establishing a high level of employee morale and motivation, they will also mentor and coach a motivated team with their exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with accomplishing human resources and organizational missions.

We seek a candidate who is innovative, analytical, and a strategic thinker. The ability to do so may be demonstrated through a bachelor’s degree or college diploma with a minimum of 3-5 years Human Resources experience that incudes unionized experience and labor relations expertise. Knowledge of recruitment, employee relations, a working knowledge of performance management, benefits administration and HRIS management is key. A proven ability to be organized and to multitask while maintaining composure under demanding circumstances is essential for success in this role. The ideal candidate will have an excellent work ethic, a positive attitude, possess superb communication skills, and have keen negotiation tactics.
